Jep & Angelic

          Feb 24, 2012 Friday, it was a hot Friday afternoon, but everybody was excited for the union of two people who have been loving and supportive of each other, in good times but most especially in bad times.  Angelic was a calm bride, which is good.

Which is quite the opposite for our cute little bride, Torie. She’s a baby so what can we expect. The preparations went on smoothly, special thanks to the events coordinator plus the time check reminder of Atty. Raymond Fortun.

Once in a while, I see Auntie Violy and Patty get teary-eyed. I know they are just happy for Angelic. A special angel is watching over them, as they get busy for this special event.  I know it’s hard for them to miss this special person but I know he is at peace and happy knowing her daughters are in good hands, not only for the bride, Angelic but also for her sister Patty as well.

I was personally honored since Jada and I are included in the entourage.

 Pj was nervous walking her younger sister in the aisle, but he did well.

 It was a fun time being with the family again, on this lovely occasion.

 I congratulate Angelic and Jep for a memorable ceremony and praying, not for a perfect marriage but a committed one. To Jep, welcome to the family, it will be a roller-coaster ride J

Family

          I just love it when Jada draws our family.  She really like it detailed, well, except for his Kuya Josh J  Since I have curly hair now, she did that with her drawing, and requested that I won't be wearing eyeglasses.  She even includes our dog Max.  Since we are going to attend a wedding, she visualizes it as a royal family. I just love how she draws ♥

Breaking Dawn Part 1 DVD release party

          Jada and I were invited for the DVD release party of The Twilight Saga -  Breaking Dawn part 1, since Oliver as always J pre-book a DVD for me. Astrovision, held in Trinoma Park, sponsored it. The entrance was nice since they made it appear like the wedding scene in the movie. It was a nice photo-op; the big problem was I just forgot to bring my camera L I just had to be contented using the camera from my iphone. Food was provided by Friday’s.

Get well message

          Still recovering from my last month’s operation. Jada gave me a note yesterday. She gave it to me right after school yesterday.

I was so touch with her message.

Star Wars Episode 1 toy re-launch

          It was another great Sunday especially for the kids. We went to the Star Wars Episode 1 toy re-launch sponsored by Toy Kingdom at SM Megamall. There are some Star Wars dioramas from different episodes and rare action figures. There were some new toys especially the Ultimate FX Lightsaber, they were detailed and affordable, except that the handles are still made of plastic, but it is still COOL!

  My kids had tons of excitement joining the coloring contest.  If we knew that there will be a children’s cosplay contest, Josh would had wore his Captain Rex costume and let Jada wore a Clone tropper or even a Darth Vader, Josh was convincing us to go back home, but there was no more time. Anyway, they were able to enjoy the activity since their names were called to join the stage contest.

 Josh was able to win in his game with a teammate. He won two toys.

Jada also join the stage contest with her being strong with the force, the game was blindfolded.

Jada was not able to win but had a consolation prize and was congratulated by Darth Vader himself!

 They had fun lining up to have their pictures taken with the different Star Wars characters.

Early gift

          My pink Sony gave up on me before my operation last month.  Today, Oliver surprised me when he handed me with my new camera. What’s great about is its Canon. It  has more features than my old camera.  So happy and touch that I received an early birthday gift from my husband. Yay! Love you Honey!!! You know how much I love taking pictures, especially our kids.

I ♥ Hello Kitty

        It’s the first day of February…that means it’s the l♥ve month!!!! One of the things I love is Hello Kitty.  She has been my favorite character since I was small. I used to go to Gift Gate Greenhills and view the different items of Hello Kitty. Once, I asked my Papa to buy me the Hello Kitty bike or the white head television, which would have been cool! I was so trilled to received a big Hello Kitty stuff toy from my Auntie Carol back when I was in Grade 6, recently just got a picture of it but it was way to blurred.  Thru the years, I have come up with a nice collection.

   .    I was even fortunate to receive 1 of the 35  reproduction painting of Hello Kitty done by the late President Cory Aquino, Gift Gate commissioned it during their Tribute to Mom promo.  Josh saw the contest in the newspaper and told me that we should enter since he knows how much I love Hello Kitty..

         Jada, my daughter also loves Hello Kitty and starts having her collection as well.  Her favorite is Barbie Hello Kitty doll.
